B) Getting from Singapore Changi Airport to Johor Bahru by BUS

The coach pick-up points at Changi Airport are at Terminal 1 (Bay 7), Terminal 2 (Bay 9/10), and Terminal 3 (Bay 1). Approximately, the coach frequency is one to two hours and the travel time takes an hour and half or longer during rush hour. The Transtar coach starts from Terminal 2 then later stops at the two other terminals (Terminal 3 and Terminal 1) before continuing the journey through five other bus stops before reaching Johor Bahru CIQ. Keep in mind to retain the bus ticket at all times because you will need it to board the bus again after passing the Woodlands immigration point.

Pro of bus mode is cheaper transport cost. However it is crucial to note that passengers need to alight at customs with their luggage. This mode of transport (BUS) is more suited to travelers with light luggage or no luggage and have time to spare.

 C) Getting from Changi Airport to Johor Bahru by MRT TRAIN & TRANSIT BUS

This kind of mix mode transport suits backpackers or those with tight budget because this is the cheapest way. The Changi Airport MRT station (CG2) is located at the basement level of Terminal 2 and Terminal which is accessible from Arrival and Departure Halls through escalators and lifts. From Changi Airport, board the train to Tanah Merah (EW4). Moving on, take the train bound for Joo Koon and alight at Jurong East station (NS1/EW24). At this interchange, embark for the North South Line (Red line) to Kranji Station (NS7).

The total MRT travel fare ranges from S$3 to S$6. At Kranji Station, there are 2 buses to Johor Bahru. You may hop on the bus on the opposite road of Kranji Station. TransitLink bus no. 170X will take you to the JB CIQ/Johor Bahru Terminal while Causeway Link bus no. CW1 to Larkin Terminal. The fares and schedules of both busses are as given below:
